Blue Speckled Jar
The blue splatter was supposed to be brown… but I still think it turned out pretty cool! I threw this jar in one piece on the wheel, then I cut the top off and trimmed it to make a lid that fits nicely into the jar. I glazed it with white and splattered brown dots onto the base and they came out a pretty blue. This jar was made with a white speckled clay and fired in an electric kiln.
